Journal Spilling: The Big Giveaway

Yay! It's a good time for a Journal Spilling Giveaway! I've been planning this for awhile but in my usual absent-minded way, just kept forgetting to get it together. SO! Here's the deal.

Comment on this post. I'll pick a name on January 20. That's right! and I won't forget either. AND I'll send you a copy of Journal Spilling, a little journal and a super cool collage pack. January is an excellent time for a present.

Here are some more enticing photos.

I am working on creating a journal to take to me to the 2010 Olympic Games. I am involved, so I will be right in the thick of things and I want to capture as much as I can for posterity!

  41. I want and need your book! I am going to start teaching at a Juvenile Corrections Facility next week. I am going to teach art journaling to 40 boys from age 13 to 17, all repeat hardcore offenders. Any suggestions? Have some fear about the communications as I am way old and they are way young. I try to walk through the open doors, but I will admit I'm afraid. Not of the kids, but will I be able to help them?

  130. I followed a link from Rice's blog and I'm glad that I did. I love all things journaling and even if I don't win a copy of your new book, I'll have to buy one and if I do win, I'll probably have to gift a copy to my sister who is way more art "gifted" than I am. I've always been the more pragmatic one but I'm trying for a new direction and for more self-expression. I can't wait to listen to the podcast of the interview of you by Rice.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I just discovered you and your book from Rice. Now I HAVE to have it!!! You're my new favorite inspiration! I hope I win! You have great YouTube videos too.

    ReplyDelete
  132. oooohh! on of my new year's resolutions was to journal more. Your book would be a big help and it would be fun to win it!

    ReplyDelete
  133. The thought of working with my critic instead of trying to duct tape her sassy mouth is so inspiring! Have a fantastic week.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I love your style and the way you mix a kind of watercolorist approach with a more layerd, mixed media look in places. I thought I had to choose one or the other, but now I see I don't need to do that at all. Also, I think the inclusion of the "meaningless" page is great...makes me less afraid of those people who ask "what's it for? what's it mean?"..On a conscious level it need not mean anything at all to the viewer or to myself...and that's a big encouragment to just spill!

    ReplyDelete
  135. I'm so excited to have found your blog. I've looked at your book longingly more than once in the store. I especially love the November page.

    ReplyDelete
