Journal Spilling Watercolors
Fridays: 4/16, 4/30; 7-9 pm ($30/class)
Sat. 4/10, and May 8; 1-4 pm ($45/class)
These classes are designed to stand-alone so you may take one, two or all three classes. The Saturday classes will have extra techniques but otherwise they are the same content.
Our main supplies will be watercolors, inks, gesso, portfolios, collage fodder and writing/drawing equipment.  Spilling out colors, line and words will open you up and allow you to play in your journal

Sat. 4/10 and Friday, 4/16, “Lean Into Trust”, Spilling words & colors, resist techniques
Friday, 4/30 and Sat 5/8, ”Personal Landscapes”, Carved eraser stamps 
Supply List
Basic Journal Kit: 
Journal with heavy paper (such as stonehenge, available from my Etsy shop - or me on the day of class)
Scissors, glue stick, black waterproof pen, pencil, Portfolio (water soluble oil pastels)
Bottle of ink (any color or black)
Travel Watercolor Kit (I like the Koi 12 or 18 color). You can also use a folding plastic paint box with Winsor Yellow, Winsor Blue (red shad) Rose Madder, Lamp Black and Burnt Umber
Watercolor brushes (1” flat, 3/4” flat, No 12 flat, no 12 round, no 6 round, no 3, round, no. 4 Japanese
Lean Into Trust:
Basic Journal Kit 
Crayons (regular Crayolas or Caran d’Ache Neocolor I)
Small spray bottle
(I will provide the Glaze pens)
Personal Landscapes:
Basic Journal Kit
 Mastercarve, Speedball carving tools, 2-3 ink pads (black + fav colors).
