Milliande has a video a day going on for the entire month of January. Her ideas are fresh and fun. She got me inspired (and she has a great accent). I pulled out the Portfolios and put a couple of layers down. Next I began to draw patterns and write into the waxy gooey goodness. The quote is from Confucious and says "Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses." Yeah. I liked that. I went over the Portfolio layer with Goldens Varnish (great stuff) and then glued down an image (the bottle with the found poetry inside) that I'd scanned into my computer from a previous journal page and printed out.
So, while this isn't exactly a response to her oil pastel page, it was certainly jump started by watching her videos. Thanks Milliande!
