Lucrecer wrote a post about personal stories and listening at Art-Slam. She's a wonderful writer and photographer and she touched me deeply and served as a reminder.
Here's a journal page I did "down the shore." {Philly-talk for taking a seaside vacation.} I tried out the new Daniel Stick watercolor sticks for the color. Color is very lovely and intense and there is a lot of it. I took advantage of the"buy the blue get the red stick" deal and then added the Hansa yellow.I think they may be great in the studio; they don't travel as well as I'd thought as they stay pretty sticky. I used Alizerin Crimson, Cobolt Blue and Hansa Yellow here which gave me a nice secondary range of colors. I'll experiment with them some more.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone. We are hosting Hurricaine Bill who is just skirting the east coast. Rainy and still unbearably humid here.

Thank you so much for your words. That means a great deal to me. I am so looking forward to getting your book. I should go to Amazon and order it right now!!! I am going to spend some of this weekend looking for and listening to stories. I love them. Take care, D.
I saw your ad first thing, right smack in the front of Cloth, Paper, Scissors. My you are so hitting the BIG TIME! And I said to myself, that is my seesta! Right there! Coincidentally I have a tiny piece in the same issue, a tiny book. First time for me, they have rejected me many times. So we share this fab issue and I am proud to be with you there. Can't wait for the book.
