One Piece of Glass and then another

First real day back from vacation on Monday. Ugh. We all know how bad that is right? Kind of nice to be back and all energized but REALLY! it stinks doesn't it?

Bess (the college grad) steps on a piece of glass and we couldn't get it out of her foot. She's limping around and off to the doctor for a professional extraction (she wound up in ER).

Next thing you know, the mail comes and with it this lovely pressie from Tonia, plexi-queen and editor extraordinaire.

On goes the Tonia heart cheering me up amidst the heat, glass splinter and cat madness. Tonia has a "heart it forward" contest going on right now blog Head over there for the rules of engagement. Her hearts are gorgeous!

So anyhoo, Bess gets back from the ER sans glass splinter and I hang the little heart necklace around her neck for a little extra love.

She comments how one tiny bit of glass can change an entire day. I observe that another piece of (plexi) glass can change it yet again. Thank you Tonia!
