In the meanwhile, here are a couple of journal pages. Above page started out last week with a list of a couple of things I wanted to do and a sprig of rosemary from my cold but brave plant. It's still surviving and smells every bit as lush! So I was watching this video by ItsAWorkOfArt and got inspired to poke the rosemary through the page and use some of my way-cool Japanese washi tape from Pretty Tape over at Etsy. I made a rubbing of the rosemary branches with crayon on sumi-e paper then ran an ink pad (Distress Ink) over the page (the crayon resists the ink). Rosemary makes me swoon.
This (below) page was me drawing/painting with my left hand. Always makes my brain feel really weird. Give it a try. Go on. It's this crazy shifty thing that happens in your brain (well that's my description, anyway).

So cool! I love a good crayon resist. :) I love what you did with the distress inks, it's wonderfully evocative.
And yeah, everyone loves a giveaway! It's been all over Twitter. :)
I love the idea of a journal page that smells as good as it looks.
I totally love, love, love the left hand page and wow what a great idea to 'aromatize' your journal! I have to give that a try, I was thinking some 'mint' too!
