The Altered Page

Do you folks know about Seth Aptar's blog The Altered Page? If not, Sunday Surf on over. He's a treasure! Loads of great ideas and prompts in Secret Sunday; interviews with artists in The Pulse ... and what's that? An interview with me in his latest project, The Book Guild? I wrote up a little remember-y (would that be memoir?) of working on Journal Spilling and you can find it here

Just a little extra today, here's my smart, creative Inca with his paste papers! You'll note that he used his tail for some of these papers and an intriguing technique combining rubbing ears and advanced paw work.

Have a fabulous Sunday everyone! Next week is the Sakura Pen Giveaway with tutorials! Yippee.

Inca does great work! My cats mostly contribute cat hair to my watercolors which work as little resists. Their way of adding texture to a painting, I guess.

I will go take a look/read your interview next. I'm glad you have such an industrious studio helper, he does good work.

back to tell you how interesting the interview was. And your book really does speak from your heart to the reader.

Hmmm, could Inca publish a book to inspire my cats to get up off my lap and create themselves? Great interview. You did accomplish your goal of inspiring the non-artist in me. What I really love about the book is that it is like we are having a conversation. You done real good!;-) Have a great week.
