Nudge 5 {The Creative Revolutionaries)

Let's take a two page spread in your journal and split it up into seven segments today. One for each day of the week. That means Homework!

So ... today, split up your page. Nothing fancy is required.

Then add a few words, a sketch, a funny or not-so-funny story. How about a quote? Or maybe one of those photos you took a couple of weeks ago? A wee collage or stamped image, perhaps? The book you are reading or a new song you heard? A leaf that fell into your path today or a candy wrapper. Use any and all of these ideas for your homework (which can take 1 minute or 1 hour).

If your dog eats your homework, that is something to journal about. If, at the end of the week you've come up with seven excuses for why you didn't do your homework, write about that: kids, work, forgot, put it off. Whatever the excuse, write it down. This will NOT be on your permanent record.

Now stop cruising the blogs and grab your journal. (Bossy britches is back).

Your nudges are really sweet and pulling at me to sit with my beloved journal. I want to draw something in those squares. I'm off to do a grid, once again, but in a different way. :-)

Thanks my dear!

scary! I'm happier blog hopping, but since you sound so fierce I will go and do it...in a minute, when I've just checked the other blogs on my list that have updated :)

Hi Diana, I'm new to art journaling
and I love it! I just bought your book "Journal Spilling" and am enjoying this new way to express my creative self. Thanks for the weekly nudges I'm going to start my "homework" right now!
Thanks again. Liz

Love this one....but I still need to do 2-3-4...or maybe just skip those and go right to five. I will make my week start on Saturday since it's my birthday!

I once tried to do a calendar where you put something in a square each day of the month. The squares are only about 1 1/2 inches square. After a month, I concluded that I live a dull life. Of course, that was while I was working! Today, by contrast, it's easy to fill in my square: I got a flu shot! yes, retirement is pretty exciting!

How can I find the other prompts so I may catch up and play with everyone? Thanks, Poe

Love the nudges. (Um, well, okay, I haven't actually DONE any of them yet. But I will. No, really!)

I also wanted to say how much I loved your idea of printing photos on sticker paper. What a great idea! I bought some small (2x4@") shipping labels (very cheap) and have just printed out a sheet of little pictures that I can stick into my journal. Like maybe one each day?!

Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be
on the web the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely
get irked while people consider worries that they just do
not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
