Four (Paws) on the Floor

And they are pretty big paws! Here is our new addition. He is six months old and adorable (as you can see). "Little Lion" was his foster name and will always be his pet name. We are also calling him Teddy or, when he is scratching the furniture: "Edward T. Kennedy"(The Lion of the Congress).

Teddy likes: pets and sitting on my lap, lying on the quilt, playing with a feather on a stick, Friskies Shreds (not ground!), his lazer toy and the plastic tab from the orange juice container.

We picked him up on November 26 and he is settling in very nicely. Already he is stalking the house with his tail straight up and leaping out at me from behind the curtain. He slept on the foot of our bed last night and before settling in we played on of my favorite kitty games: I move my feet under the blanket and Teddy pounces. Very fun. We feel pretty darn lucky to have such a beautiful, fun little guy to share our lives with. There is nothing that compares to a furred friend - cat or dog.

Many thanks to the fabulous people at Forgotten Cats in Jenkintown, Pa. and in particular, to Robin and her Dad who foster our Little Lion. Those animal rescue people really deserve our support.

Tomorrow, I'll be back with newsy-type stuff. xo all, Diana

Big paws indeed - but adorable ones! Kittens are so much fun. Our 14 year old was totally full of beans today - spent the whole day playing with anything she could find. She has arthritis, so we are always amazed when she takes one of her playful fits.

What a sweety! Our little Goldie is about the same age and she would have had the hots for him. However, we got her spayed today so she is not feeling very frisky right now.

Hi, Diana! This is Robin, foster mom to Teddy (formerly Little Lion). I can't tell you how thrilled I am that he has such a wonderful, loving forever home! It makes my heart happy and my dad gets tears in his eyes to think of how lucky and loved Teddy is. Give him a hug and kiss from me!

Robin! He is a joy and the sweetest guy! And he'll always be Little Lion. I expect him to grow into his name! I gave him extra hugs and kisses.

He is absolutely gorgeous and I suspect will grow into a big spoilt boy (deservedly so)who will rule your household. We have 4 cats and two dogs and the cats are definitely in charge - one raised paw and the dogs retreat! I hope you have many happy times together.
