In the Studio

The weather outside is frightful ... hang in there everyone. Spring training for pitchers and catchers starts in twelve days.

Good things from the studio. A journal page. Me in kimono, Teddy in orange.
 Doodling around with some marks
Moon Pond painting in progress (see this post)

Working with some stitched sketches of this scene as well. So many possibilites ...

And in the evenings ... stitching and weaving fabric for Jude Hill of Spirit Cloth's online course, Contemporary Woven Boro. All of the blue and white striped cloth patches will be covered, maybe tonight. The top part is an embroidery piece I did a few years ago. Previously languishing in my unfinished objects drawer.

Working on my On-Line Class, Inner Circle Journal. I'll be putting up a video about it in a couple, three days. The possibilities of this seem endless.

Oh...I love what you have been up to. I have been creating today to as I am snowed in at daughters house. Over a foot so far ! I got your book Journal Spilling in the mail just before coming here. I love it... now if I could just enjoy soaking it in without my 3 year old grandbaby wanting to know "whats that Meme ?" LOL !! I've got to sign up for your class as well !!!

Wow, when the weather is frightful, you sure get gorgeous things done, Diana! I have my first snow day off of work today! WNY is snowed in and iced in, but today I am thrilled. I want to create! {Thank you for the delicious art extras you always add to my little black journal orders! I hold them, smile at them, appreciate them, then dream and create with them! You are a delight!} ~Kathy

I love Teddy - he looks an awfullot like my Little Bit, except she has some black spots on her nose, and her eyes are yellow.

I LOVE it that you know pitchers and catchers start in 12 days!! I had a note to myself that said 2/13 P+C; took me about 3 hours to remember what I meant. Silly old bear. . .

Ahhh! Trece ... Little Bit! What a sweet name!

Linda, I am loving this Boro class. I really enjoy hand stitching. Jude is very inventive with her techniques and there is a very free exchange of ideas and information in this class. So glad I took it!
