Right or Left?

Right Brain/ Left Brain Quiz
The higher of these two numbers below indicates which side of your brain has dominance in your life. Realising your right brain/left brain tendancy will help you interact with and to understand others.
Left Brain Dominance: 15(15)
Right Brain Dominance: 16(16)
Right Brain/ Left Brain Quiz
Ha. Big surprise here.
I'm criminally disorganized and do you think that it may be a metaphor that my favorite art techniques involve resists?

Anyone have a suggestion on a good website or book for learning how to manage time? I'm thinking about Time Management from the Inside Out by Julie Morgenstern.

Ooh, Diana, there is a lot out there on time management. My favourite books are: First Things First by Stephen Covey (the principles are covered in his more famous book the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People), Do It Tomorrow by Mark Forster (www.markforster.net) and Getting Things Done - how to achieve stress free productivity by David Allen. Hope you have fun investigating. Sheila xxx

Thanks, Diana, this was fun. I wasn't really surprised with my results either :-D. Organization does not come naturally to me, but I find life is better when I make an effort to have routines and systems set up, especially for household tasks. Simplify Your Life by Elaine St. James and Speed Cleaning by Jeff Campbell are two books that really helped me. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Just discovered your blog and I happily have signed up to follow! You are so incredibly creative! I do happen to have a suggestion for organizing. I write for a website called Connections for Women and a woman named Lorie Marrero writes regularly on the subject. She also has a system set up. I have not signed up to follow it because I'm afraid to even start! (I too am criminally disorganized.) I just checked the site and the articles this week just happens to be "Taming your crafty passions". Here's the link:

I'm exactly even on both sides. But I knew that in college, taking a similar, but more exaustive test. I guess I haven't changed! One thing that is good about being balanced, is that we can see both sides of the perverbial coin. We are good in art as well as business, which is REALLY a plus! I am an accountant, plus, an artist and a musician.

The one problem that I have is sometimes I want to be creative, and I need to sit here and do accounting, and visa versa...have you experienced that????

I agree with scj--the Seven Habits is wonderful--and Getting Things Done is another winner. I haven't read Do it Tomorrow. I'll have to though!

Thanks for posting!

disorganized and resists...a metaphor. hmm. I think that sounds terribly deep and interesting, I have to think about it. I wonder what mine might be...

I'm 16/16 - fun!

I highly recommend Twyla Tharp's "The Creative Habit"

In fact, I need to get it out and read it again. My discipline (if I ever had any - as scatterbrained as I am) has gone off somewhere to hide.
