Moon House |
Today, on the way to the Post Office, bumper stickers on the car ahead read:
I (heart) Democrats and Eat More Kale
On the way home, another car and more stickers:
I'd Rather Be Killing Communists and Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death
Diversity on Kia's.
Website tune up is in progress. Taking WAY to much time ... . Coffee Shop is 2 blocks away. Thank you.

Love your Moon House, Diana.
I LOVE reading bumper stickers, Diana! A favorite:
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.
I really like this one.
So great! I love it!!
I really love this one, Diana.
I love your moon house as well as the moon pond from the previous post!
The way you combine your gray value paintings with a bit of color, collage and stitch fascinates me!
Thank you all so much for your comments. I'm really enjoying myself here!
Haha Karen, that's a good sticker!
Totally love this piece! (snorting at your bumper sticker experience)
Oh-you're taking Boro into paper and paint. Love this moon house.
Diana~
although i am a mature~ in age ~teacher,
i am a first time ART teacher.
i had just enough lessons to eeeek thru
the first semester with High School students.
i am, during this holy days break, looking for
and creating lesson plans for 2nd semester.
your "moon house" and "moon pond" work
has got me brainstorming on how to
create a lesson plan to give students
opportunity to create some work that is similar.
i love your word "nudges".
i do this with my students.
i give them a glimpse of where we are going.
i work along with them.
AND,
i attempt not to finish any nudge
(until they are nearly complete with their work)
because some of them just want to copy
rather than put their imagination to work,
and some students are scared of their own ideas.
thank you for sharing your work.
it has inspired me today.
