Scenes from a Workshop

The first workshop of 2011 was Saturday in my studio.

There was a lot of learning and sharing going on. I love these smaller workshops - seven students in my studio. The syllabus is looser which allows us to respond freely to questions that come up. All my supplies are right here at my fingertips. We shared thoughts and materials.

Here is a page Laura (top R) finished when she got home. Thanks for the nice words, Laura.
Kathy Nesi brought along the journal she had made in my Rescue Book Journal class at Art-Is-You. I'm offering a similar class this year in Danbury but using a coptic stitch to bind it. Here is a pic of her book! I was so thrilled to see it worked in. Kathy is teaching a woodburning class this year at Art-Is-You.
Kathy is using her journal for the Sketchbook Challenge. Here is a peek inside showing the Highly Prized theme proposed by Jill Berry. Thank you, Kathy.
A good day, a swell group of women.

Thank you for sharing this, both the loveliness of your time together and the "Highly Prized" page.
