There was a lot of learning and sharing going on. I love these smaller workshops - seven students in my studio. The syllabus is looser which allows us to respond freely to questions that come up. All my supplies are right here at my fingertips. We shared thoughts and materials.

Kathy Nesi brought along the journal she had made in my Rescue Book Journal class at Art-Is-You. I'm offering a similar class this year in Danbury but using a coptic stitch to bind it. Here is a pic of her book! I was so thrilled to see it worked in. Kathy is teaching a woodburning class this year at Art-Is-You.

thanks for this post diana! the class was wonderful, the people swell and of course we all tamed that critic! not to mention on the way home i stopped at allegheny art!!! sure wish i had a store like that one near me, small little place loaded w/tons of great supplies! my favorite thing is the neocolor II are sold individually! woo hoo!!!
